It's Working Together For Your Good

We hear many people say that 2020 has been a horrible year and they are so ready for 2021. Yes, 2020 has been a year of unexpected troubling things but not just bad, but also good things because my God is a loving, kind, and great God. While we have lost several loved ones and have had to endure a pandemic, there are many who have started new businesses, who have realized their talents and gifts and many who have realized they are stronger than they imagined. Many are praying and seeking God more and we are learning how to have better relationships with God, our families and friends. That's a good thing. Many have not been inside a church building in months but you are still holding on to the faith you had before and for the most part, even better. No matter how bad it looks, we can thank God that it is not worse. I am thankful to have a God who continues to give us new mercies everyday. We may not have all we desire but our needs are met and we have the activities of our limbs. We have sane minds and know that everything is working together for our good. How do we know? Because we have this hope in God and His word in Romans 8:28 says, “We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. We do not know what tomorrow holds but we know who holds tomorrow and who is on the throne and that he is a loving and caring God and has not forgotten you. Encourage yourself no matter how it looks in knowing things will get better and that your latter will be greater than your past.
